Rock, Paper, Scissors returns!

A recent California Tortilla newsletter is promoting the return of the Rockville-based franchise’s Rock, Paper, Scissors event. This year it starts on Wednesday, June 11, and continues for the next four Wednesdays. Here’s how it works:

Every time you order an entrée you get to play RPS with the spunky cashier. If you win, you get a free chips and queso-and the cashier gets fired. (Wouldn’t that be horrible? Talk about upping the suspense.) If you lose, you get 50 cents off your next meal. You’re a winner either way–you’re just a better winner if you actually win.

And if that’s not enough, each participating Cal Tort will be sending one lucky rock, paper, scissorer to take part in the world’s largest RPS contest before the Steve Miller Band concert at Merriweather Post on Thursday, July 17th. And if all goes as planned with the contest, we’ll be in the Guinness World Book of Records!
